This style is a hatinator. A hatinator is a hybrid of a HAT & FASCINATOR. The hat is secured on your head by a thin headband. Typically a hatinator “base” will have a shallow crown, which is why you need the headband to securely keep it on your head. A hatinator will give you the illusion of a hat with the comfort of a fascinator!
